General Conditions – Plastic Surg Consult SRL
1. Subject
These general conditions define the rights and obligations between Plastic Surg Consult SRL and its patients regarding the medical-surgical and administrative services provided by the practice.
2. Appointment and Consultation
Any consultation, intervention, or service is preceded by a prior appointment. Making an appointment constitutes acceptance of these general conditions.
3. Services and Fees
The fees related to medical, surgical, or administrative acts are communicated to the patient clearly and transparently. Certain acts may be subject to a prior estimate signed by the patient.
4. VAT
In accordance with current legislation, certain acts are subject to VAT (21%), particularly interventions for aesthetic purposes. Other acts, which serve a medical purpose, may be exempt from VAT.
5. Payment Terms
Payment for services is made in cash on the date of the service, unless a prior written agreement is in place. Payment can be made by bank transfer, Bancontact QR code, or in cash. Our bank details: Belfius BE17 0688 9076 0121.
6. Late Payment
In the event of late payment, a late fee of 10% per year will be applied, as well as a flat-rate compensation of €40 for collection costs, in accordance with applicable legislation.
7. Appointment Cancellation and Cancellation Policy
Any consultation cancellation must be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
Failing this, a fixed fee of €100 may be charged, except in cases of force majeure.
7.1 Booking Deposit
Confirmation of any surgical date is subject to the payment of a non-refundable booking deposit:
€1,500 for procedures requiring the entire operating day (facelift, breast augmentation, breast reduction, and procedures of equivalent duration);
€605 for aesthetic procedures performed under local anaesthesia.
This deposit covers the exclusive reservation of the operating theatre, the mobilisation of the medical and nursing staff, and the loss of opportunity resulting from the inability to schedule other patients during the reserved time slot. The deposit must be paid by bank transfer upon signing the quotation and constitutes confirmation of the surgical date.
7.2 Rescheduling
Any request to postpone a procedure notified more than 42 days before the scheduled surgery date will incur a rescheduling fee of €250 (VAT included). Any postponement request notified 42 days or less before the procedure shall be treated as a cancellation.
7.3 Cancellation by the Patient

The deposit shall be deducted from the total amount due in the case of cancellations occurring 15 days or less before surgery.
7.4 Force Majeure
In cases of duly documented force majeure (emergency hospitalisation, death of a first-degree relative, or a serious accident occurring within the 72 hours preceding the procedure), no compensation shall be due. Notification must be sent by email within 24 hours and accompanied by supporting documentation.
7.5 Cancellation by the Practice
If Dr. Cantella cancels the procedure for non-medical reasons less than 21 days before the scheduled surgery date, the patient shall be entitled to choose between:
a full refund of the deposit; or priority rescheduling with a 5% reduction on the surgeon’s fees.
7.6 Notification Procedure
Any cancellation or modification must be notified exclusively by email to chirplastique@mac.com. SMS messages, WhatsApp messages, and telephone messages are not accepted and shall not be considered valid notification for the purposes of calculating deadlines.
7.7 Patient Rights
The patient’s right to withdraw consent to treatment (Act of 22 August 2002, Article 8/1) is absolute. However, this right does not exempt the patient from the cancellation charges set out above when the cancellation is made late, in accordance with Opinion CN a172013 dated 07 November 2025.
8. Responsibility and Confidentiality
Plastic Surg Consult SRL is committed to respecting the confidentiality of its patients’ personal and medical data, in accordance with GDPR. The practice’s liability can only be engaged in the event of proven fault.
9. Image Rights and Website Content
The website of Plastic Surg Consult SRL, as well as all its content (texts, images, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, graphic charter, etc.), are protected by copyright and image rights. Any reproduction, representation, dissemination, or use, even partial, without prior written permission, is strictly prohibited. Any image of a patient published on the website is only done with their written and signed consent. At any time, the patient can request the removal of their image, which will be carried out as soon as possible.
10. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, the courts of Brussels have sole jurisdiction. Belgian law applies.
