AESTHETIC SURGERY OF THE EARS

This simple intervention effectively corrects the unsightly appearance of prominent ears.

The operation can be performed at any age, but is usually done in childhood (from six to seven years old). It helps eliminate potential psychological and school-related issues. The intervention is generally performed under local anesthesia.

The hospital stay does not exceed 24 hours.

Post-operative care:

A dressing is applied for 1 week. After that, wearing a protective headband day and night is necessary for about fifteen days.

Temporary pain may occur during the first two days. This is alleviated by analgesic treatment.

The scar, very discreet, is hidden behind the ear.
